“Spring Forward” This Weekend!

It’s that time of year again! Time to change the clocks and “spring forward”.

Officially this Sunday, March 11th, 2018, at 2:00 am we turn the clock AHEAD one hour — to 3:00 am — as we begin Daylight Saving Time. (And yes, the correct spelling is “Saving” not “Savings”. There should be no “S” on the end!)

Roof Cleaner also wants to remind everyone that now is also a good time to check the batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. Even most of your “hard wired” detectors have a battery backup, so make sure those batteries are in working order. It’s a good idea to check the batteries twice a year, so doing it the same time you change your clocks is an easy way to remember when you checked them last.
